The Building Maintenance Division is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the following County-owned buildings.

- Includes offices for the County Attorney, Public Defenders, District Courts, City Court, Justice Court, Juvenile Probation, and Community Services
- Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
Law Enforcement Facility
- 221 Breckenridge, Helena, MT
- Hours of Operation: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Includes offices for the Helena Police Department, County Sheriff, Support Services Division, Disaster and Emergency Services, and the County jail facility.
Detention Center:

- Includes offices for Resource Development, Community Health Services, Emergency Preparedness and Prevention, and the Health Center Clinic.

- Patient Visitation Hours 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Saturday
- This is a long-term care facility for the elderly and patients suffering from Alzheimer Disease. The Cooney Home has a total of 90 licensed beds, which includes 14 beds in an Alzheimer Unit.
