Solid Waste

Solid Waste Investigations include garbage, rubbish, refuse, ashes, construction and demolition waste, dead animals, including offal, discarded home and industrial appliances, and wood products or wood byproducts and other materials. When this office receives a complaint regarding solid waste, we investigate the situation. When the complaint is justified, the property owner is notified of the complaint and is required to resolve the problem. When appropriate, we encourage complainants to use the community decay ordinance to resolve complaints.
