    Courtnay Crowell, MD

    Dr. Courtnay Crowell, MD is originally from Houston, Texas.  She finished her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and French from Austin College in Sherman, Texas.  Seasonal work in Yellowstone National Park convinced her that Montana was to be her true home.  She returned to Texas to attend medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and quickly returned for residency at Montana Family Medicine Residency in Billings.  She spent a wonderful two years practicing family medicine in New Zealand with her husband, Dr. Justin Smith.  Dr.'s Crowell and Smith are both happy to be settling into practice in Lincoln together.  Courtnay’s free hours are spent with her husband and two young children and her interests include hiking and cross-country skiing.

     

    Justin Smith, MD

    Dr. Justin Smith, MD is originally from Florence, Montana.  He attended the University of Montana, earning a degree in microbiology.  He was awarded a place in the Western Interstate Commission of Higher Education (WICHE) program, which enabled him to represent Montana at the University of Arizona College of Medicine where he earned his medical degree.  He then completed his 3-year Family Medicine residency in Billings with his wife, Dr Courtnay Crowell.  They then worked in New Zealand for 2 years before returning home and jointly accepting the position in Lincoln with the CHC.  Dr Smith is an avid hunter and occasionally an apt fly-fisherman.  He has an interest in cartography and GPS navigation.

    Will Snider, D.O.

    Dr. Snider joined the CHC in September 2001, and became medical director in 2004. He received a bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Montana in 1990, and received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences: College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri in 1998. He completed a residency in family practice in 2001 at the Deering Clinic in Billings, where he served as chief resident his third year. Dr. Snider is board certified in family medicine, and enjoys full privileges at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena.

     

    Heather McRee, D.O.

    Dr. McRee joined the CHC in September 2004. She received a bachelor’s in biology from the University of Montana in 1996, and while at UM, she volunteered at the Mt. Selinda Orphanage and Hospital near Chipinge, Zimbabwe. Dr. McRee received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. She completed a residency in family practice in Billings in 2004 at the Deering Clinic, where she served as chief resident her third year. Dr. McRee is board certified is family medicine, and enjoys full privileges at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena.

     

    Dawn Gormely, FNP-C, Nurse Practitioner

    Ms. Gormely joined the CHC in May 1997. After she earned a bachelor’s in nursing from Carroll College in 1986, she attended graduate school at MSU in Bozeman to become a nurse practitioner while working full-time as a registered nurse at St. Peter’s Hospital. She received her master’s in 1996.

    Ms. Kenny joined the CHC in November 2003. She received a bachelor’s in nursing from Carroll College in 1987 and a master’s in nursing in 1998 from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. At the CHC, Lisa provides health care to our community’s neediest residents through the Healthcare for the Homeless program at God’s Love Homeless Shelter.

     

    Patrick Frawley, LCSW

    Patrick Frawley received his master's degree in Social Work from Portland State University in 1975.  He has been licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Montana since 1984.  He has spent most of his career serving individuals and families in both inpatient and outpatient health care settings.  He joined the staff at CHC in 2006 where his mission as a mental health provider is to help blend mental health services into primary health care.

    Ms Baraby joined the CHC in September 2006.  She received a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Montana in 1988.  She has worked in the human services field for seventeen years, helping people access programs and resources that enhance their health and well being.

     

    Terri Losey, Case Manager/Social Worker

    Ms. Losey graduated as an "older than average student" from Carroll College in 1990 with dual majors of Public Administration and Political Science.  Prior to returning to school Ms. Losey worked mostly in Public Safety. Since school she have been employed as a Social Worker/ Case Manager for both Washington and Montana Welfare agencies, Head Start, and Lewis and Clark County.  Ms. Losey was mostly raised in the Helena valley.

     

     

    Brent Wilson, HCH Outreach Coordinator

    Mr. Wilson received his Bachelor's degree in History in 2002 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has worked in homeless services since 2007, when he moved to Montana to be an Americorps VISTA Volunteer with Family Promise, a program for homeless families in Bozeman. Before joining the CHC as the Health Care for the Homeless Outreach Coordinator in 2008, he worked at a homeless shelter in Dundalk, Ireland.
