Mission Statement:

The mission of the Lewis and Clark Tobacco Use Prevention Program is to address the public health crisis caused by the use of all forms of tobacco.

 Program Goals:

  • Prevent tobacco use amoung young people
  • Eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke
  • Promote quitting amojnt adults and youth
  • Build community support and capacity for tobacco use prevention

The citizens of Lewis and Clark and Broadwater Counties

        -         Train the Trainer Presentations for Youth and Adults
        -         Community and School Presentations
        -         Resource Library

Ø      Montana Tobacco Free Schools Act and Clean Indoor Air Act (CIAA)

-         Business Support and Education
        -         Enforcement
        -         Community-wide Education
       
-         Provide Educational Materials, Signs, and Other Resources

Ø      Montana Quit Line & other Local Tabacco Cessation Programs
        -       Referrals
        -       Community Education
       
-       Health Care Provider Education
