The Administrative and Financial Services Department is responsible for finance and budget, personnel, payroll, mail services, property management, and grant activities for the County. The public defenders office is administratively attached to this department. The department supports the commission with administrative, research, policy development, and oversight activities. In FY2001, an Administrative Services Coordinator was included in the budget to assist the Chief Administrative Officer, Finance Director and Human Resource Director.
